DELIVERY SERVICE HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED AS OF JUNE 12, 2014. STAMPS ARE STILL AVAILABLE.
Hawai'i Post operated under the exemption to the U.S. Private Express Statutes that allows urgent mail. The relevant statute is Section 39 CFR320-6.
May 1997, "Hawai'i Post" is established as a messenger and delivery service in Waikiki to pick up and deliver urgent mail.
May 15 1997, "Hawaii Post"is registered as a Tradename in the State of Hawai'i.
February 10 2000, the domain name www.hawaii-post.com is created.
June 13 2000, "Hawai'i Post" starts issuing postage stamps for prepayment of services.
September 19 2000. "Hawaii Post" is re-registered as a Tradename in the State of Hawai'i until February 10 2011.
February 2001. "Hawaii Post" is registered as a Service Mark (# 2,432,418) by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
January 2007. Due to the owner being deployed to Iraq, the service is suspended for a whole year.
May 2008. The owner returns from Iraq and the service is re-sumed.
May 2011. "Hawaii Post" is re-registered as a Service Mark for another ten years by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
May 6, 2014. Hawai'i Post issues its last set of stamps.
June 12, 2014. Hawai'i Post's delivery service is discontinued. However stamps are still available while supplies last.
